ABOUT US

We are a small Australian Shepherd breeder located in Norco, (Horse Town USA) California. Our dogs are raised in our home with plenty of love and attention and are treated as part of the family. Ours dogs get plenty of exercise and have lots of activities to keep them busy on our 1/2 acre property. They are raised around horses and other animals which brings out their herding instincts. Our dogs have traveled with us to Montana where we have six acres of property in the beautiful Bitterroot Valley. Australian Shepherds love the outdoors and are ready for whatever adventure you have in store for them!

We breed for confirmation, temperament, and health. All our dogs are AKC and A.S.C.A. registered. Some litters are AKC and A.S.C.A registered. All our breeders are DNA tested for multiple hereditary diseases. You will receive a copy for your records.

How to get a puppy

If you are interested in getting one of our puppies, the first step is to call me (Gina) so we can get to know one another. It is important to us that each one of our puppies goes to the best possible home, where it will become a member of your family. Austrlian Shepherds are intelligent, loving, and loyal companions!

Waiting List (Prior to litter being born) - A $200.00 refundable deposit is required to getting on the waiting list. You can specify the color and sex of the puppy you are interested at that time. Once the litter arrives and you choose a puppy from the pictures posted on the "Available Puppies" page, your deposit becomes non-refundable. If the puppy you desire is not available, your deposit will be refunded.

After Litter Arrives - If you see a puppy marked available on the site, a $200.00 non-refundable deposit is required to hold it.

Visiting Your Puppy - You are able to visit your puppy once it reaches five weeks of age. We do not allowing visitors until then because their immune systems are still weak and we don't want to expose the litter to any possible infections. Also, the puppies' personalities really start to shine around that time too.

Puppy Visiting Day is a big event around here! We schedule time for you to come meet and interact with your puppy. We encourge you bring a toy and something with your scent on it (ariticle of clothing) to leave with the puppy until pick-up day. This way when your puppy goes home it will already be familiar with you, because a dog's number one sense is it smell!

You also get to meet us, and the parents of your new puppy, too. It is a great time for questions and answers about puppy pick-up day.

Grain Free Diet

Choosing the right type of food for your dog is an important decision. Our dogs and puppies are raised on a high quality grain free dog food. Taste of the Wild provides top quality roasted meats such as Bison and Vension which is high in protein and a natural part of a dogs diet. It does not contain fillers such as rice, corn, and soy. Your puppy will be ready to go home around eight week of age. It will have had its first set of vaccinations and two dewormings. You will also receive the AKC and/or A.S.C.A. registration form(s), puppy contract, and the two year health guarantee. We are also here for you and your puppy after it goes home.
